Deffects
1. Squeaky exercise bike: First of all, lubricate all rotating parts with silicone spray. It is also possible that a screw is too tight or too loose, this causes friction and thus a squeaking sound. If this is the case, try to find out exactly where the squeak is coming from and loosen or tighten this screw slightly. The screws should be tightened so that they can always be loosened by hand.
2. No resistance: First of all, check if you hear the motor running. You will hear the motor turn very briefly when you increase or decrease the resistance. If you hear the motor turning, then all the electronics are fine, but the V-belt has probably come loose. You can then open the housing and put the V-belt back on. If you don't hear the motor running, the motor or display may be faulty. First check that the cable running up the tube is still properly connected. If the cable is still properly connected, replace the display. If that does not solve the problem, replace the motor.
3. Ticking noise while pedaling: This is probably caused by one of the pedals. Disassemble and reassemble the pedals. Be careful, the left pedal should be tightened counterclockwise, the right pedal clockwise. Tighten the pedals firmly. If this does not solve the problem, report it to the supplier.
4. Heart rate display does not work: This can have several causes. 1. The sensor cables running from the heart rate sensor to the display are not attached properly or have become disconnected during use. 2. The sensors may have become damp, dirty or greasy, clean them regularly. 3. If you have a lot of calluses on your hands, it is more difficult for the sensors to measure.
5. Freezing of the console on HTR2.1: The console needs an update. See below for explanation.
