Is my treadmill having an effect?

1. Incline does not work properly: In the manual you can find how to calibrate the treadmill step by step. If you no longer have a manual, you can request it from the supplier.
2. Heart rate display does not work: This may have several causes. The sensor cables running from the heart rate sensor to the display are not properly mounted or have become disconnected during use. 2. The sensors may have become damp, dirty or greasy, clean them regularly. 3. If you have a lot of calluses on your hands, it is more difficult for the sensors to measure.
3. Curved tread: If the treadmill deviates to the left or right, you can easily fix this. If the treadmill deviates to the left, insert the Allen wrench into the left side of the tensioner roller and tighten it. If the treadmill deviates to the right, insert the Allen wrench into the right side of the tensioner roller and tighten it. You tighten it by turning the Allen wrench clockwise. You can get an audio-visual explanation from your supplier.
4. Knocking noise: A knocking noise is normal and can be heard with any treadmill. The belt meets in the middle and this causes a slight knocking sound when the treadmill is on.

5. The treadmill jerks while running: The treadmill floats over a smooth plate that carries your weight. Every time you put your feet on the tread, they touch the underlying plate. This underlying plate must always be smooth so that the treadmill does not get trapped by your own weight and/or the underlying plate, but continues to glide over the underlying plate. Lubricate the plate regularly to prevent this from happening.
6. Treadmill does nothing: There should be a "Safety Key" on the display on every treadmill, see the manual for this. If it is not on the display, the treadmill will not do anything.
