If the heart rate sensors do not work or work poorly, check the following:
- Are all cables connected properly?
Check that the cables coming out of the display are properly connected to the cables coming out of the steerer tube. Also check the cables for breaks.
- Are the hand sensors not responding properly?
Make the hand sensors grease-free with a little washing-up liquid. Wipe slightly damp and dry well.
Pay attention
Reception of the heartbeat using the handles is not always constant. Sweat, exercise and even hand cream can have a negative influence on this. That is why we always recommend using a chest strap when training on heart rate. The hand sensors are primarily intended to occasionally monitor the heart rate level during training.
